Sunkern

Sunkern is a Pokémon introduced in Generation II (Johto).
It evolves into Sunflora when exposed to a Sun Stone.
Elarian Form evolves into Elarian Form Sunflora when exposed to a Moon Stone.
There is a chance that Sunflora will be reverted into Sunkern when exposed to a Devolution Spray KC-MK1, Devolution Spray KC-MK2, or Devolution Spray KC-MK3.
Elarian Sunkern is a Grass/Dark-type regional form of Sunkern, which appears in the Elaria region. It hides in the ground to avoid harsh sun, which wakes it up. Its shell is much harder than that of regular Sunkern's, for defensive purposes. It is also darker in color, to make this Pokémon less noticeable to its predators. Since it doesn't gain its energy from the harsh light of the sun, it emerges from the ground at night and exposes itself to the moonlight. When Sunkern absorbs significant amount of moonlight, it evolves into Sunflora.
