Bulbasaur is a Grass/Poison Starter Pokémon introduced in Generation I (Kanto). It has two forms: Normal and Bulbagarden. The spawn rate of this Pokémon is Rare.
The Bulbagarden Form can be redeemed by using the Starter Redeem Ticket - Bulbasaur (Bulbagarden Form). Due to its special status, these are unable to evolve. This form is also colloquially referred to as 'Bulbagardensaur' by the community: a portmanteau of 'Bulbagarden' and 'Bulbasaur.'
The Normal Form Bulbasaur is able to evolve into Ivysaur, which in turn evolves into Venusaur.
