Bulbasaur is a Pokémon introduced in Generation I (Kanto). It has two forms: Normal and Bulbagarden.
Normal Form Bulbasaur is able to evolve into Ivysaur when given an Evo Candy. Ivysaur evolves into Venusaur when given an Evo Candy.
Its Normal Form can also be obtained by purchasing and redeeming the Starter Redeem Ticket - Bulbasaur. Bulbagarden Form Bulbasaur can be obtained by purchasing and redeeming the Starter Redeem Ticket - Bulbasaur (Bulbagarden Form).
Trivia
- Due to their special status, Bulbagarden Form Bulbasaur are unable to evolve. This form is also colloquially referred to as 'Bulbagardensaur' by the community: a portmanteau of 'Bulbagarden' and 'Bulbasaur.'
