Rattata is a Pokémon introduced in Generation I (Kanto).
It evolves into Raticate when given an Evo Candy.
There is a chance that Raticate will be reverted into Rattata when exposed to a Devolution Spray KC-MK1 or Devolution Spray KC-MK2.

As part of a phenomenon most notably seen in the Alola region, populations of Rattata which are driven to nocturnality take on a new form in which it is part Dark-type in addition to Normal-type. In Elaria, where the usual rules of time zones do not apply, both forms of Rattata can be found.
