It evolves from Poliwhirl when exposed to a Water Stone. It is one of the final evolved forms of Poliwag, the other being Politoed.
There is a chance for Poliwrath to be reverted into Poliwhirl when exposed to a Devolution Spray KC-MK1 or Devolution Spray KC-MK2.
