Clamperl is a Pokémon introduced in Generation III (Hoenn).

It can randomly evolve into either Huntail or Gorebyss by trading.

There is a chance for Huntail or Gorebyss to be reverted into Clamperl when exposed to a Devolution Spray KC-MK1, Devolution Spray KC-MK2, or Devolution Spray KC-MK3 or an Everstone if it has evolved through trade.

Discoverer's Dex Entry[edit]

Despite its appearance, it’s carnivorous. It clamps down on its prey with both sides of its shell and doesn’t let go until they stop moving. Clamperl’s pearls are exceedingly precious. They can be more than 10 times as costly as Shellder’s pearls.

Other Forms[edit]
