Rattata is a Pokémon introduced in Generation I (Kanto).
It evolves into Raticate when given an Evo Candy.
There is a chance that Raticate will be reverted into Rattata when exposed to a Devolution Spray KC-MK1, Devolution Spray KC-MK2, or Devolution Spray KC-MK3.

Kantonian Rattata
This hardy Pokémon lives wherever it can scavenge for food and multiplies rapidly. It demonstrated these traits when dozens of them were brought into the now-condemned children’s pizza place “Reg E. Rattata’s” in Elaria as part of a promotional stunt, then quickly made a habitat for themselves of the kitchen.
Alolan Rattata
As part of a phenomenon most notably seen in the Alola region, populations of Rattata which are driven to nocturnality take on a new form in which it is part Dark-type in addition to Normal-type. In Elaria, where the usual rules of time zones do not apply, both forms of Rattata can be found.
