Charmander is a Pokémon introduced in Generation I (Kanto).

It evolves into Charmeleon when given an Evo Candy. Charmeleon evolves into Charizard when given an Evo Candy.

There is a chance that Charmeleon will be reverted into Charmander when exposed to a Devolution Spray KC-MK1, Devolution Spray KC-MK2, or Devolution Spray KC-MK3.

It can also be obtained by purchasing and redeeming the Starter Redeem Ticket: Charmander.

Elarian Charmander is a newly discovered, Fire/Poison-type form of Charmander, appearing in the Elaria Region. It lives in the swamp. Because of the wet air, Charmander's flame used to be weak, which in result was also weakening the Pokémon. Due to this, they developed a symbiotic relationship with Gastly - it sustains the flame, while Charmander gives it necessary nutrients. The toxins from Gastly's poisonous gas changed Charmander's appearance and behaviour, although they don't harm it in any way.
